Senior STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to further develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skills, freeskate, synchro and artistic skating. This session is taught in a group lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner. A skater must have competed at a Star 3 level or higher to skate on a Sr. STARSkate session with the only exception being the coaches discretion.
Skaters require a CSA approved helmet or a concussion headband, figure skates and proper skating attire (skating tights, dress or pants, a warm sweater and gloves).
Podium Pathway is everything listed above but more competition focused! Podium Pathway is for the Skaters that are serious, focused and competition driven in figure skating.
Podium Pathway offers two different Off Ice classes for both Juniors and Seniors this year focusing on flexibility through Yoga taught by a trained professional at UNMVMT in 103. Our second off Ice session will focus on ice jumps and landing along with warm ups and cool downs focused for figure skaters. Podium Pathway is by Invite Only.
